Professional Practices (maximum points chapter)
The Professional Practices Award recognizes chapters for a wide variety of activities that demonstrate diverse and creative projects.
CRITERIA
All of the following achievements should apply to the Professional Practices Award nominees:
A. Internal (Chapter) Recognition
Chapter recognition of members for job performance, service to IAWP, longevity of membership, etc. Examples: Employee Performance Awards, Hall of Fame, member of the Year, Unsung Hero Award, Sub-Chapter Awards, Continuous membership Award, Above and Beyond, job related/program awards (ES, UI, LMI, WC, PI, Training, etc.), etc.

B. IAWP Promotion
Activities that promote membership and publicize the objectives of the organization. Examples: IAWP Day, chapter history projects, Employer Committee coordination, hosting of receptions for regional or national meetings, etc.

C. Chapter Service Projects
Activities that involve Chapter members in the community and/or the betterment of life for the members. Examples: Food drives for the needy, community projects, recycling/environmental efforts, wellness programs, employee medical contribution drives, fund raisers for specific charitable causes, etc.
